Economic inequality is a growing global issue. There are many ways developed from various disciplines to solve this problem. One way that is considered effective to reduce the level of economic inequality is to expand the spirit of charity. Thus it becomes community that is able to spread benefits to all human beings with the spirit of charity.

However, there are important points about the proper management of charity funds, there are also criticisms of the model of charity institutions that exist in the present time, and about the ideal form of supervision for charity institutions.

Concerning this global issue, the Research and Community Service Institution (LPPM) of Universitas Islam Bandung (UNISBA) has a Center for Middle East and Asia Pacific Studies which will discuss this issue with 2 experts from two countries.
